AS Norske Shell - Ormen Lange
Prestigious responsibility on Ormen Lange

Two companies in Ålesund achieved an important part of the condition monitoring on the huge plant of Ormen Lange.

Maskindynamikk and Liaaen Teknologi are the main parties of this contract, but MainTech in Trondheim will also be a part of the contractordeal

The duration of the contract is five years, starting 1st October 2006. The contract contains an extension option after the first five years. A/S Norske Shell is to take over the management operation 1st October 2007. Until then Maskindynamikk and Liaaen Teknologi will be part of the closer adaptation and design of the monitoring system.

The contract is signed. From left Harald Anthonsen which is the operating manager for Ormen Lange, Nils Johan Liaaen from Liaaen Teknologi, contractor Runar Myrvoll also Liaaen, Kjell Arve Larsen which is maintainance mangager for Ormen Lange and Per A. Nordal in Maskindynamikk.

Ormen Lange - Under the sea-surface

No installation will be visible on the sea-surface above the gas field of Ormen Lange. All the installations will be situated between 800 and 1100 meters below sealevel.

Nyhamna Gasplant, design

In the most hectic period of development, more than 2500 people are going to be involved in the enlargement of the gasplant on Nyhamna. Åsgard B shown in full scale to demonstrate the size of the plant.
