30.10.2008 "Online System (MHMS) - delivery "
MHMS (Machinery Health Monitoring System) is a front end system for condition monitoring of machinery in general, but specially designed for rotating machinery with variable load condition like electrical motors, generators, turbines, pumps, compressors, gears, thrusters and propulsion systems.

Because of the variable running conditions the system is equipped with dynamical alarm limits. These are alarm limits adjusts to the various load condition in the system.

02.01.2006 "MHM™-System delivery to Tafjord Kraft AS (Power plant)"
Maskindynamikk is now in an initial process of starting a online Machine Health Monitoring -System, MHM™ on two water turbine station applications in the power plant Tafjord Kraft AS in Tafjorden. This is a fully automated system which continuously monitor the turbines operational and mechanical condition.

The system process and analyse vibration data into superior conditional data which is used as a basis for alarming, diagnosis and reporting.

The system is remotely controlled and monitored over LAN and the Internet, whereby the users get access to alarm status, historical data, user friendly analysis and important reports. This is of mandatory importance to gain control of technical status and the need of service on the machinery.

06.12.2005 "Condition Based DNV-Classification on the DP-Rig, West Venture"
In December 2005 DP-Rig (DP - Dynamic Position) West Venture was approved by the classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as the first drilling rig in the world with condition based classification on thruster DP-propulsion system.

01.12.2005 "Online Condition Monitoring, MHM (Machinery Healt Monitoring-System™)"
The request of continuous machinery monitoring both onshore and offshore has increased tremendously during the last years. Maskindynamikk AS has since 2004 developed a adequate online condition monitoring system, MHM™, Machinery Health Monitoring-System™.

MHM contains signal sensors, I/O boards for data acquisition recording and processing data, software for various data analysis and handling alarms.

The signal sensors register important parameters like vibration, pressure, temperature, load and RPM. These is the basis for a proper condition evaluation.

All of the vibration data is filtered and processed through FFT algorithm which generates several analysis and conditional parameters. This gives the basis for alarm control, diagnosis and reporting.

After a short period of time MHM™ will register the normal running conditions, and based on this, alarm limits are dynamically optimised. In this way the system will recognize abnormal conditions or conditions that needs human resources.

Extensive instrumentation and data acquisition software developed and installed in the worlds first tidal power plant of its kind.
